Lisa Gelobter

 Have you ever sent your friend or family member a funny GIF in a text message? of OfCourse you have! Thanks to Lisa Gelobter we are able to use this feature. She developed the animation used to create GIFs. Lisa was inspired to make changes in the technology world because she wanted to figure out how to continue to use technology for good and really be transformative and because of that, she has inspired many other young people to pursue technology careers and paved the way for a more inclusive and equitable future in the industry. Lisa is now the Chief Executive Officer of tEQuitable. A start-up company she founded in 2016 to serve as an independent and classified platform.  Over the years, women have found it hard to reach heights that Lisa has gone in her career especially as a woman, a half Jewish and half African American woman at that but if people like Lisa work hard to get to where they are, they can inspire other young women of color to get to where they hope to go in the technology world and we can see even more women of color inventing more and having ownership and leadership in their position.
